❤️👏🏻VIPER VILLAGE👏🏻❤️ Our next Viper Village highlight is Mrs. Kinne! Mrs. Kinne has been teaching for 34 YEARS! She also has a masters degree in education! Ms Kinne’s heart is full of love and it’s so sweet to watch her with her students. Her love for her students is so obvious in the way she greets and talks to them. She starts the morning with a morning meeting meant to get the kids to know each other better. Sometimes this is silly and sometimes it’s sweet. No student is ever left behind in her class as she makes it a point for everyone to feel loved and included. Our kindergarten program really encourages our kids to transition into those bigger grades by focusing both on academic and emotional growth. “Kiss your brain” Mrs. Kinne! We’re so grateful for you! Mr. P is also the athletic director and can be found cheering on all our vipers. During the school day Mr. P runs around to assist in classrooms or on the playground. He's a cheerleader for all the students and encourages growth mindset and to make each day better than that last! He's also an avid PEZ collector! ✏️📚SPRING FORWARD DAY📚✏️ Early Childhood Education Matters! Join us at Val Vista Academy in Gilbert for a “sneak peek” of kindergarten and 1st grade. VVA’s annual Spring Forward Day allows students to get a taste of their next year in school. This year, we are inviting families who are still looking for the perfect experience for their children. If your child is entering kindergarten or 1st grade in the Fall of 2025, we would love for you to join us. Students will spend time in the classroom getting to know the teachers and new friends, taking part in activities, and enjoying a snack and some playtime. As part of this class they have different local published book illustrators come in and share with the 7/8th class. This gets students interested in the ins and outs of what goes into book illustrations, meet and support local published illustrators, ask questions, and possibly consider future careers in this area. 🐍❤️🖤💪VIPER NINJA WARRIOR💪🖤❤️🐍 Friday, February 14, 2025 GOAL $30,000 - as always, 100% of the proceeds can be used as a tax donation. VNW is a fun, challenging course designed for kids of all abilities with obstacles, activities and lots of smiles to go along with your kids' awesome feeling of accomplishment. Our VNW event is an organized event where each child will collect flat rate donations and run the obstacle course for fun as many times as they can. Sponsorship is not required for participation. 🐍❤️🖤💪 Students were challenged this weekend to simply register for our event. Teachers who receive 100% registration this weekend will receive a gift from Mrs. Oda. Thank you for your assistance with this! Students also receive a water bottle sticker just for registering. As always, these events are not possible without volunteers. If you are interested in assisting when your child is not running, it would be greatly appreciated.
